As an independent Lutheran University founded in 1859, Valparaiso University is approximately 1 hour from Chicago and 15 minutes from the Indiana Dunes National Park. With over 70 different degree paths our students can find what they are passionate about and pursue it relentlessly with dedicated faculty in and out of the classroom without getting lost in the crowd.
