Student Life & Community

  • Community Life Hour (CLH) is not your grandpa’s chapel (not that there was anything wrong with that, but hey, times have changed). We call it CLH for a reason: it’s about bringing people together and building REAL community. Sometimes that happens with extended time for worship in music or prayer, sometimes with a challenging biblical message from a guest speaker or from the faculty or student body.
  • Oak Hills is a quaint lake front campus nestled in the north woods of Minnesota. Resting just outside of the Bemidji city limits Oak Hills campus has a remote feel, a secure setting while being only minuets from coffee shops, retail stores and airport.
  • Our community is made up of Christian interdenominational students professing faith in Jesus Christ and a passion to pursue live as He designed it to be. Oak Hills is an intentionally Christian community seeking to communicate and participate in our community and world in a respectful and loving manner.
  • We also have faculty-, staff- and student-led small groups with topics ranging from Bible studies to board games, from the history of Christian rock-n-roll to hiking, from book clubs to baking lessons–whatever people feel like doing.

Campus Visit

The best way to find out if Oak Hills Christian College is a good fit for you is to tour the campus. Coming for a tour while school is in session will give you a comprehensive view of who we are. You will have the opportunity to attend chapel (Community Life Hour) and a class or two, as well as get a feel of what campus life is like.

Over 75% of tours matriculated to application and acceptances in the 2023-24 cycle.
