Important Things To Know

  • MSUB is test optional for students entering the fall of 2024 for admission. Encourage your students to apply and submit their credentials as soon as possible.
  • Montana State University Billings is pleased to announce our new Yellowjacket Excellence Merit Award Program designed to recognize students for their high school academic achievement. These awards will be granted to first-time freshmen who demonstrate academic promise based on past academic performance.
  • The MSU Billings Yellowjacket Excellence Program are automatic awards based upon high school GPA. University Campus award amounts vary between $1,000 - $3,000 annually and City College award amounts vary between $500 - $1500. Awards are renewable for two or four years. All freshmen who submit an application for admission, complete with GPA provided on the Self Report Form will be automatically considered. Final high school transcripts are required to confirm the high school GPA and scholarship before fall classes begin. www.msubillings.edu/scholarships/merit.htm
