Helena, MT 59625
United States

Institution Overview

Academic excellence and attitude shaped by a belief in ourselves, our mission, and our culture. This is rooted in our Catholic, diocesan identity forming a powerful bridge between our history and our present that you simply don't find anywhere else.

Living and learning at Carroll College is about more than earning a degree. It's about more than preparing for a career. It's about who you become, and the lives you touch along the way. We engage with one another in ways you simply don't see other places. We inspire one another. We seek out ways to improve life, and lives, all over the world.

It may be an anthrozoology student training a dog on campus. Environmental science students sharing their future dreams while conducting research in a mountain stream. A couple of friends kayaking the Missouri River. Or watching our Fighting Saints athletic teams excel on the field or court.

At Carroll, it's about the adventures we share!

Student Life & Community

  • "3+3" Dual-Degree Law Program Agreements with University of Montana and Gonzaga University:
  • -This opportunity allows students to attend Carroll College for three years and then matriculate to the UM or Gonzaga law schools to complete their three-year law degree. This enables students to earn both a baccalaureate degree and Juris Doctorate in six years rather than the typical seven years.
  • Continued partnerships with W.M. Keck Observatory (home of the world's largest telescope) on the Big Island of Hawaii. Carroll is the only undergraduate institution in the nation to have a post-graduate paid fellowship with the Keck Observatory.
  • Nursing continues to be one of our top programs with our Nursing Simulation Center containing three labs and one observation room, where students learn real-world application of classroom lessons in a safe, realistic healthcare setting. In addition to our Direct Entry pathway for first year students looking to earn a bachelor degree, we also offer a post-baccalaureate accelerated nursing program.
  • Perkins-Call Canine Center includes space on campus for our Anthrozoology students to practice canine training techniques, attend class, and conduct research.
  • We offer 2 graduate programs at Carroll including Master of Social Work and Master of Accountancy
  • We will be starting a PA program on campus starting the Fall of 2026.

Highlights
