Institution Overview

Montana GEAR UP serves students in 7th-12th grade in 19 schools in Montana, to help students graduate from high school and be successful in post-secondary education. Our office is housed in the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education (OCHE), OCHE partners with ReachHigherMontana.org (RHM) to promote college access. By the fall of 2020 RHM's website will host a central application site for applying to enter Montana's community colleges or universities. GEAR UP also sponsors the ACT for all juniors in the state and the 1,2, Free program which allows qualifying students to have their tuition paid for dual enrollment classes.
